During a monthly review meeting led by Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu, the operational and technical performances of domestic airlines were evaluated, particularly regarding passenger safety and facilitation.
Key airlines including Air India, Air India Express, IndiGo, Akasa Air, Alliance Air, Fly91, FlyBig, and IndiaOne Air were present, sharing their performance metrics and action reports on security incidents and passenger complaints.
Extensive discussions took place regarding safety oversight, fleet management, and initiatives focused on passengers. Each airline was engaged in identifying operational bottlenecks and addressing their specific challenges.
Minister Naidu also highlighted the importance of keeping airfares reasonable during the festive season.
