New Delhi, Nov 17 (NationPress) The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has evolved from traditional methods to advanced digital solutions, guaranteeing that provident fund services are accessible to every worker—whether they are part of formal employment or gig work, in urban or rural settings—with equal speed and dignity, stated Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya on Monday.
He emphasized that EPFO has consistently acted as a cornerstone of financial security for millions of workers throughout the nation.
The minister noted that in the previous year, EPFO has made significant strides in enhancing its digital infrastructure.
Key advancements include an upgraded unified portal, a redesigned EPFO website, streamlined claims processes, real-time grievance resolution, paperless onboarding, and doorstep assistance for pensioners via Digital Life Certificates (DLCs), all of which have significantly improved the citizen experience.
For the first time, EPFO showcased its cutting-edge pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, which was officially inaugurated by Dr. Mandaviya.
This debut at IITF showcases a fresh and modern identity that embodies transparency, efficiency, and extensive service delivery.
Dr. Mandaviya praised EPFO for its ongoing efforts to fortify India’s social security framework and highlighted the organization’s crucial role in upholding financial dignity for the workforce, according to the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
The pavilion is more than just a representation of services; it signifies EPFO’s dedication to being “Future-Ready, Member-Centric, and Technology-Driven.”
The minister remarked that the pavilion exemplifies how digital public services can empower individuals, assist businesses, and strengthen trust between citizens and institutions.
He encouraged visitors, employers, and youth to explore the pavilion, engage with its features, and understand the critical significance of social security.
Dr. Mandaviya also congratulated the EPFO team for creating an informative, engaging, and progressive pavilion that aligns with the national vision of ensuring social security for everyone.
Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Shobha Karandlaje, extended her best wishes to EPFO for this initiative and urged the organization to assist visitors through on-the-spot services and knowledge sharing.
