For this quarter, HAL's profit after tax reached Rs 1,866.66 crore, a notable rise from Rs 1,439.79 crore during the same period last financial year (Q3 FY25), according to an exchange filing.
The revenue from operations also saw growth, climbing 10.65% year-on-year to Rs 7,698.80 crore in Q3 of FY26.
In conjunction with the quarterly results, HAL’s Board of Directors declared a first interim dividend for FY26.
The announced dividend is Rs 35 per equity share of face value Rs 5 each, fully paid up, as per the regulatory filing from the public sector firm.
HAL has set February 18 as the record date to identify eligible shareholders for the dividend. “The Board of Directors of the Company has declared a first interim dividend of Rs 35 per equity share of Rs 5 each fully paid up for the Financial Year 2025-26,” the firm stated in its regulatory filing.
The dividend amount will be distributed to eligible shareholders on or before March 14, 2026.
HAL has a long-standing history of consistent dividend payouts and has declared 14 dividends since March 28, 2019.
In the previous year, the company paid dividends totaling Rs 40 per share, yielding a dividend yield of 0.98%.
The last dividend declared by HAL was Rs 15 per share, with a record date of August 21, 2025.
