ICICI Prudential AMC Reports 16.7% Drop in Q4 Profit to Rs 763 Cr

Mumbai, April 13 (NationPress) ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company disclosed on Monday a 16.76% sequential decline in its net profit for the fourth quarter (Q4) of FY26. The net profit reported was Rs 763.42 crore, a drop from Rs 917.09 crore in the preceding December quarter (Q3 FY26) as per the stock exchange announcement.
In contrast, on a year-on-year (YoY) basis, the profit experienced a 10.37% increase compared to Rs 691.71 crore recorded during the same quarter of the previous fiscal year (Q4 FY25).
Revenue from operations surged by 19.53% YoY, reaching Rs 1,517.01 crore in the March quarter, an increase from Rs 1,269.19 crore in Q4 FY25.
On a sequential scale, revenue remained relatively stable with a minor uptick of 0.15%, moving from Rs 1,514.67 crore in the prior quarter.
The company's board has proposed a final dividend of Rs 12.40 per equity share for FY26, pending approval from shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Once approved, the dividend will be distributed to eligible shareholders.
Operationally, the company has continued to experience robust growth in both its asset base and customer numbers.
The quarterly average assets under management (QAAUM) for mutual funds climbed to Rs 11,047.87 billion in Q4 FY26, compared to Rs 8,794.12 billion a year prior, enhancing its market share to 13.5%.
The QAAUM of actively managed funds reached Rs 9,206.15 billion, maintaining a market share of 13.7%, while equity and equity-oriented schemes contributed Rs 6,204.01 billion.
Equity-oriented hybrid funds also experienced growth, with their QAAUM rising to Rs 2,177.97 billion and capturing a market share of 26.7%.
The company's alternate assets segment showcased a QAAUM of Rs 729.95 billion, which includes portfolio management services, alternative investment funds, and advisory assets.
ICICI Prudential AMC also recorded an increase in its investor base, with the total number of unique clients rising to 1.7 crore as of March 31, 2026, compared to 1.46 crore the previous year.
Monthly systematic transactions for March 2026 totaled Rs 51.04 billion, in contrast to Rs 39.06 billion in the same month last year.
