New Delhi, Nov 15 (NationPress) The Pavilion of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) was officially opened at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF 2025) to unveil India’s ambitious vision for digital public infrastructure, responsible AI, and participatory governance, as announced by the government this Saturday.

Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Electronics and IT, MeitY, inaugurated the pavilion, which offers an interactive glimpse into initiatives under Digital India, IndiaAI, and MyGov.

“Attendees can engage with immersive displays, uncover real-world applications, and witness how India is crafting a citizen-focused, future-ready digital economy,” the statement highlighted.

In preparation for the upcoming 'India-AI Impact Summit 2026', a highlight of the pavilion is the IndiaAI Zone, underscoring India’s dedication to fostering safe, reliable, and inclusive AI frameworks.

The minister also toured the dedicated experience section of the IndiaAI pavilion, which showcases the seven strategic pillars of the IndiaAI Mission: AI Kosh, Applications, Future Skills, Startups, Compute, Foundational Models, and Safe and Trusted AI.

Prasada interacted with various screens demonstrating AI Kosh, practical AI applications, initiatives for future skills, and the overarching ecosystem being developed under the Mission.

The pavilion is also hosting the summit’s three flagship Global Impact Challenges with a total prize pool of up to Rs 6 Crore, providing mentorship, access to investors, and cloud credits.

It invites scalable AI solutions from key sectors to promote inclusive, high-impact innovation, according to the statement.

The Ministry of Electronics and IT had previously announced plans for AI-enabled eKYC and global credential verification within the DigiLocker platform.

The government also introduced the India AI Governance Guidelines under the IndiaAI Mission, establishing a framework to safeguard the inclusive and responsible adoption of advanced technologies across sectors.
