Srinagar, Oct 21 (NationPress) The Speaker of the J&K legislative assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, acknowledged a private resolution put forth by a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) MLA, advocating for a one-time exemption of outstanding electricity tariff dues for consumers.
This resolution was introduced by PDP MLA from Kupwara, Mir Fayaz.
The measure will advance to the next phase and undergo the ballot procedure in the forthcoming Assembly session.
This initiative seeks to deliver significant relief to households grappling with escalating power expenses and ongoing billing conflicts.
