New Delhi, Oct 17 (NationPress) Nirmal Kumar Minda, the Executive Chairman of Uno Minda Group, has been appointed as the new President of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM). In a significant development, Amitabh Chaudhry, the Managing Director and CEO of Axis Bank, has been elected as the Senior Vice-President of this prominent industry chamber, as announced in a statement on Friday.

Minda, who boasts extensive expertise in the automotive sector, succeeds Sanjay Nayar, founder and Chairman of Sorin Investment Fund, who has concluded his term.
