New Delhi, Nov 12 (NationPress) The individuals responsible for the recent car explosion in Delhi, which occurred near the Red Fort Metro Station, are destined to fail as India is rapidly evolving and poised to become an incredibly vibrant nation in the future, asserted Jim Rogers, a renowned American investor and financial analyst, on Wednesday.
In an interview with IANS, the 83-year-old Singapore-based investment veteran condemned the despicable act, affirming that India will persist on its remarkable growth trajectory regardless of such cowardly acts perpetrated by terrorists.
“I unequivocally condemn all acts of terrorism like this. It is deeply unfortunate that such incidents are occurring in Delhi. Typically, terrorists are not successful. They may cause destruction, but they rarely achieve their ultimate goals. Hence, those responsible for the Delhi incident will ultimately fail,” he emphasized.
The explosion took place on the evening of November 10 when a Haryana-registered vehicle parked near Gate No.1 of the Red Fort Metro Station detonated, resulting in the deaths of at least eight individuals and injuring many more.
Investigative agencies are currently scrutinizing over 1,000 CCTV footage clips, with sources in the Delhi Police suggesting that the car blast might have been a suicide attack aimed at maximizing destruction.
Furthermore, these agencies are monitoring social media interactions and gathering mobile phone data from various locations throughout Delhi.
In the interim, heightened security alerts have been issued across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Mumbai, with increased security measures around crowded public spaces and places of worship.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been assigned the case following a review by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment to ensuring justice for the victims.
Rogers added, “India is undergoing significant changes, and it is set to be a remarkably exciting country in the future, despite the presence of terrorists.”
“In the end, the terrorists will not prevail,” he concluded in his conversation with IANS.
