Paris, June 4 (NationPress) Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal emphasized that fostering stronger ties between businesses is crucial for enhancing the India-France strategic partnership.
Speaking at the India-France Business Conference in Paris, which convened various Indian and French enterprises, he remarked, “I underscored the ‘India Opportunity’, fueled by a skilled and talented workforce alongside the government’s commitment to improving the business environment, presenting exciting prospects for French firms,” as noted in his post on X.
He urged companies from both nations to collaborate, focusing on mutual interests and maximizing their respective strengths.
In a separate meeting, Goyal interacted with Nir Barkat, Israel's Minister of Economy and Industry.
“Our conversations revolved around diversifying our trade portfolio, promoting innovation, and enhancing collaboration in high-tech and emerging sectors, setting the foundation for the next chapter of our partnership,” added the Union Minister.

“I participated in the India-France CEO Forum Small Group Meeting today in Paris along with LaurentSMartin, the French Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and French Nationals Abroad,” stated the Union Minister.
