Greater Noida, Sep 24 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive in Greater Noida tomorrow morning to officially open the third edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show.
The local administration and law enforcement have made extensive preparations for the Prime Minister’s arrival.
Noida Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh reported that a comprehensive four-tier security arrangement has been established, with special measures at district borders to ensure safety.
She mentioned that over 5,000 personnel, including traffic police, female officers, intelligence teams, special commandos, and paramilitary forces, have been mobilized.
Tight security is also being maintained in and around the Expo Mart complex, the event venue. Drone surveillance and CCTV cameras will monitor all activities during the Prime Minister’s stay. Traffic diversions have been implemented to alleviate congestion, and designated parking areas have been established for attendees.
In line with the goals of Make in India, Vocal for Local, and Aatmanirbhar Bharat, the trade show is anticipated to attract investors from all districts in Uttar Pradesh, along with prominent industrial leaders and entrepreneurs from outside the state.
Officials are optimistic that this five-day event will catalyze new investments, create additional job opportunities, and further elevate Uttar Pradesh’s industrial landscape. They noted that this year’s event promises to be larger, uniting thousands of exhibitors, international buyers, industry experts, policymakers, and business leaders under one roof.
The UP International Trade Show, which will continue until September 29, seeks to exhibit the state’s industrial and investment capabilities.
Later in the day, PM Modi will head to Banswara in Rajasthan to inaugurate and lay the groundwork for development projects valued at Rs 1.08 lakh crore.
A significant highlight of the event will be the launch of the 2,800 MW Mahi Banswara Nuclear Power Project, which is expected to play a vital role in fortifying India's energy sector.
