Mumbai, May 30 (NationPress) The infrastructure firm PNC Infratech revealed its results for the fourth quarter of FY25 on Friday, showing a dramatic decline in profit of 80.94% year-on-year, dropping to Rs 75.43 crore from Rs 395.89 crore during the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Quarterly, the profit decreased by 7.2%, down from Rs 81.35 crore in the December quarter.
According to a filing with the exchange, PNC Infratech reported a total profit of Rs 815.41 crore for FY25, which is 10.33% lower than Rs 909.42 crore in FY24.
The company's total expenditure for the March quarter of FY25 was Rs 1,615.63 crore, a decrease of 22.74% compared to Rs 2,091.24 crore in the same quarter last year.
On a quarterly basis, expenditure rose by approximately 16% from Rs 1,388.65 crore in the December quarter.
For the entire FY25, total expenditure fell 23% year-on-year to Rs 5,748.90 crore, down from Rs 7,482.63 crore in FY24.
In the March quarter of FY25, the company reported an income from operations of Rs 1,704.10 crore, which is a 34% decline compared to Rs 2,600.14 crore from the same period of FY24.
However, on a quarterly basis, there was a 16% increase in income from operations, with Rs 1,470 crore reported in the December quarter.
The total income for the March quarter of FY25 was Rs 1,766.63 crore, reflecting a 32% decrease compared to Rs 2,624.15 crore from the same quarter last year.
Again, a 16% quarterly increase was noted, as the December quarter showed an income of Rs 1,512.19 crore.
Overall, total income for FY25 dropped by about 21% year-on-year to Rs 6,940.46 crore, compared to Rs 8,731.38 crore in FY24.
