New Delhi, Aug 13 (NationPress) realme, a leading smartphone brand among the youth in India, has commenced the manufacturing and distribution of the realme Buds T200 Lite in India thanks to its collaboration with Optiemus Electronics Limited (OEL).

Through this partnership, realme has ramped up production to 2,500 units per day at OEL’s Noida facility, with aspirations to boost this number to 10,000 units daily in the near future.

The realme Buds T200 Lite marks the first product manufactured locally as part of this partnership. Additionally, the production of hybrid active noise cancellation earbuds, including the realme Buds T200, will start shortly.

This initiative aligns with realme’s broader objective to transition its entire AIoT product line to Indian manufacturing within the next three years, which encompasses earphones, smartwatches, and headphones.

Furthermore, the company is focused on sourcing essential components such as batteries, PCBs, cables, and chargers from within India.

"This achievement is precisely what we aimed for when partnering with OEL. Getting the T200 Lite into production and available in the Indian market signifies a significant advancement. We are progressing rapidly, and our next goal is to introduce more sophisticated earbuds like the hybrid ANC models into local production. It’s about building smart, building locally, and scaling effectively," stated Francis Wong, Head of Product Marketing at realme.

The partnership between realme and OEL aims to produce up to 5 million AIoT devices annually, which is expected to generate over 2,000 jobs in India, thereby supporting local talent and fortifying the supply chain.

The focus is evident—build for India, build in India, and create products that can compete globally.

This momentum coincides with realme's recent celebration of seven years in India, highlighting a period of consistent growth, impactful product launches, and increased local investment. With this manufacturing initiative, realme is setting the stage for its next chapter in the Indian market.

The realme Buds T200 feature 12.4mm dynamic bass drivers, hi-res audio certification, LDAC support, and up to 32dB Active noise cancellation. Additionally, it includes dual-mic noise reduction, Bluetooth 5.4, a 45ms low-latency game mode, an IP55 rating, and app-based controls.

Moreover, the realme Buds T200 Lite boasts 12.4mm drivers, dual-mic AI call noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.4 with dual-device pairing, IPX4 water resistance, and up to 48 hours of playback with fast charging capability.
