Mumbai, Nov 2 (NationPress) Bullet manufacturer Royal Enfield announced a remarkable 13 percent increase in overall sales, reaching 124,951 units in October, up from 110,574 units in the same month last year, driven by robust festive demand and positive market sentiment.
Domestic sales surged by 15 percent to 116,844 units, compared to 101,886 units sold in October 2024, according to the company's official statement.
Conversely, exports saw a decline of 7 percent, totaling 8,107 units against 8,688 units in the same period last year.
B Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Limited and CEO of Royal Enfield, highlighted the festive spirit as a driving force behind the sales surge nationwide.
“With over 249,000 motorcycles sold during the festive months of September and October, achieving our best festive performance, we have reached a milestone that reflects our strong momentum and the enduring affection riders have for our brand,” he remarked.
The company, part of the Eicher Motors Group, is solidifying its presence in the mid-size motorcycle market with popular models such as Classic 350, Bullet, Hunter 350, and Himalayan.
This impressive sales performance comes at a time when India’s two-wheeler industry is showing signs of a broader recovery.
Several prominent manufacturers, including TVS Motor Company and Suzuki Motorcycle India, recorded sales growth between 8 to 11 percent in October, fueled by GST reforms and festive demand.
“Thanks to the GST reforms and strong festive demand, India's two-wheeler sales surged, with leading manufacturers reporting 8 to 11 percent growth in October 2025,” industry estimates reveal.
Analysts suggest that the ongoing economic recovery, combined with improved rural sentiment and new model launches, has further propelled two-wheeler sales ahead of Diwali.
