About Techno Electric
Techno Electric and Engineering Company is one of India's established power infrastructure players, with over four decades of experience spanning engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), asset ownership, and operations and maintenance. The company has a significant footprint across power generation, transmission, and distribution.
Notably, the firm played a foundational role in setting up the first power station of NTPC Limited at Shaktinagar and has since been involved in nearly every NTPC project in various capacities. In the transmission segment, it has constructed more than 150 of the 276 substations owned by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited — accounting for over half of the utility's substation infrastructure.
Execution Track Record
Across its history, the company has successfully completed more than 400 projects in India and overseas, supported by a workforce of approximately 400 professionals. Despite Tuesday's sharp correction, analysts will be watching whether the revenue momentum — up nearly a quarter year-on-year — can translate into profit recovery in the quarters ahead.
