Mumbai, July 31 (NationPress) Actor Abhishek Bajaj, recognized for his role as a superstar named Ayaan Grover in the TV series ‘Jubilee Talkies – Shohrat. Shiddat. Mohabbat’, has shared insights on the realm of non-fiction.
"I find more joy in portraying characters. My primary goal is to establish myself as a strong actor before delving into non-fiction. There's a unique thrill in embodying diverse roles, and the connection with the audience is incredibly rewarding," he expressed.
The actor continued, "Receiving praise for my craft and talent brings me immense joy. However, I adhere to the principle of 'never say never.'"
Abhishek mentioned that he had been approached for non-fiction programs a few times previously.
"At that time, my schedule was packed with shoots, and I was focused on solidifying my career through various character portrayals. Unfortunately, I missed the opportunity to explore the non-fiction space," he elaborated.
When discussing Salman Khan as the host of the immensely popular reality show "Bigg Boss", he remarked, "I perceive Bigg Boss as a platform where contestants are thrust into extreme situations that are rarely encountered in everyday life."
"In reality, we have the option to walk away or tackle situations with maturity," he added.
He also noted, "While participating in the show, every action crafts your public persona, which may not genuinely reflect your true self but merely serves as a representation."
"I don't feel particularly at ease with the show's concept. Nevertheless, I am not one to shy away from challenges, so I can't definitively state whether I might participate in the future or not," he stated.
As an actor, he is eager to explore the comedy genre.
"There is still so much I want to delve into as an actor. I aspire to take on action-comedy roles as I believe my sense of humor is quite strong. The audience has yet to see me in a comedic light," he expressed.
"I would love to engage in such projects or even a romantic comedy. Additionally, I am interested in historical dramas, period pieces, or fantasy roles, and playing a superhero is a dream of mine. That’s what I’m looking forward to," he concluded.
Abhishek has also appeared in Bollywood films such as Student of the Year 2, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, and Babli Bouncer.
