New Delhi, June 16 (NationPress) Actor Aditya Roy Kapur shared insights about his role in “Metro…In Dino”, highlighting that while his character had a significant amount of dialogue, collaborating with filmmaker Anurag Basu also included impactful silent moments.
Aditya praised Anurag's ability to balance expressive dialogue with the nuance of emotion conveyed without words, stating to IANS: “Honestly, I had plenty to express in this film, so I was quite vocal throughout. Yet, as you mentioned, he has this remarkable skill to communicate a lot without any dialogue, and there were numerous moments like that, which is truly wonderful.”
He elaborated that sometimes, an actor doesn't need a lengthy monologue. “One can convey so much with just a glance, and he’s exceptional at that. For me, it was a blend of both. I did have a lot to articulate—definitely opinionated, with numerous takes on various matters.”
“But yes, he’s fantastic at expressing a great deal in just a silent moment, and as an actor, that’s always a treat—to engage in scenes like that, to be guided in that direction, and to receive such material,” he concluded.
With “Metro…In Dino”, Anurag returns to complete his hyperlinked trilogy. The film delves into the intricate and contemporary relationships, promising a profound exploration of love, heartbreak, and human connections.
The cast includes Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher, and Neena Gupta.
Produced by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in collaboration with Anurag Basu Productions Pvt. Ltd., “Metro…In Dino” is directed by Anurag Basu, featuring music by Pritam, and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu. The film is set to hit theaters on July 4.
