Mumbai, Aug 6 (NationPress) As Vatsal Sheth celebrated his 45th birthday, Bollywood icon Ajay Devgn extended his wishes in a playful manner by referencing “Taarzan: The Wonder Car”, a film that debuted in 2004.
Ajay shared a delightful snapshot on his Instagram stories, featuring himself, Kajol, Vatsal, and his wife Ishita Dutta.
“Whenever you need me, look for a purple car...happy birthday @vatsalsheth,” he captioned the post.
The mention of the purple car refers to the remarkable “wonder car” that was a modified Toyota MR2, crafted by DC Design, owned by Dilip Chhabria. This iconic vehicle, known as Taarzan, showcased a unique purple and silver design.
“Taarzan: The Wonder Car” is a supernatural action thriller directed by Abbas-Mustan, featuring a star-studded cast including Vatsal Sheth, Ayesha Takia, Ajay Devgn, and others.
The film is loosely inspired by the American movie Christine, which is adapted from Stephen King’s novel of the same name.
The storyline follows Raj, who transforms his late father's car into a magical entity named Taarzan, which becomes alive, driven by his father's spirit, and seeks vengeance against his father's killers.
Ajay also took a moment to wish his wife Kajol, whom he described as his “favourite,” on her 51st birthday.
He posted a black-and-white image of Kajol from her younger days on Instagram, writing: “Could say a lot but you would still roll your eyes. So...happy birthday favourite @kajol.”
Kajol and Ajay began their romantic journey while filming “Gundaraj” in 1994 and tied the knot in 1999 in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony. Their family grew with the birth of their daughter in 2003 and their son, Yug, in 2010.
The couple’s latest cinematic venture is “Son Of Sardaar 2.”
