Mumbai, Dec 19 (NationPress) The eagerly awaited Ajay Devgn-led film ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ is confirmed to hit theaters on November 14, 2025. The production team officially revealed the release date on Thursday.
This film features Rakul Preet Singh and R. Madhavan, promising an engaging plot filled with humor, romance, and family dynamics.
Fans of the original romantic comedy can celebrate, as the sequel aims to introduce a novel twist to the beloved story, providing viewers with an emotional rollercoaster. Filming is taking place in Punjab, Mumbai, and London.
‘De De Pyaar De 2’ is a continuation of the 2019 hit ‘De De Pyaar De’, which featured Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Rakul. The first installment follows the hilarious chaos that ensues when a middle-aged NRI and prospective divorcé becomes enamored with a much younger woman, introducing her to his family, including his ex-wife and kids.
The sequel’s narrative reportedly picks up where the last film concluded. It follows Ashish Mehra, a 55-year-old NRI investor in London, as he falls in love with Ayesha, a 31-year-old independent woman, and embarks on a serious cohabitation journey. Ashish's next step is to meet Ayesha's family to seek their blessing, having previously garnered his own family's approval in the earlier film. This sets the stage for a comical battle of wits between Ashish and Ayesha's father.
The script for the film was completed in August 2023, and the official announcement was made in March 2024. The film is helmed by Anshul Sharma, taking over from Akiv Ali.
Produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar alongside Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan & Ankur Garg, the movie is set to premiere in theaters on November 14, 2025.
