Chennai, April 8 (NationPress) The Censor Board of Film Certification has officially approved director Adhik Ravichandran’s highly anticipated action film, ‘Good Bad Ugly’, starring Ajith Kumar in the main role, for release with a U/A certificate.
Adhik took to his X timeline to announce the news, sharing a poster confirming the film's censorship status with a U/A certificate.
This film has generated significant excitement among fans, and the recently unveiled trailer has further fueled their enthusiasm.
The trailer opens with actor Arjun Das, who portrays a stylish villain, dancing alongside foreign models to the catchy Tamil folk tune ‘Otha Rooba Tharen’ from the movie ‘Naatupura Paatu’.
Arjun Das then confronts Ajith Kumar, stating, “AK sir, I just checked your history and saw that you are a major villain. But in my game, I am your villain.”
The scene transitions to Trisha, who tells Prabhu, “He (Ajith Kumar) was the one who pushed my father onto the road.” It’s at this moment that Ajith delivers his first line in the trailer: “I gave up smoking for my sake, I gave up drinking for my wife’s sake, and I gave up violence for my son’s sake. But if my son is in danger, I would have to revert to my former self, wouldn’t I?”
The trailer showcases some spectacular action sequences featuring both Ajith and Arjun Das. At one point, Ajith Kumar declares, “You will have your nose and eyes. You will have your hands and legs. But you won’t have your life.” The trailer concludes with Ajith saying, “Bad boy.”
The film’s music is composed by National Award winning composer G V Prakash. The cinematography is handled by Abinandhan Ramanujam, and editing is done by Vijay Velukutty. The stunts are choreographed by Supreme Sundar and Kaloian Vodenicharov.
Notably, 'Good Bad Ugly' was initially set to release during Pongal when filming began in June of last year. The release is now slated for April 10.
The film, which stars Trisha alongside Ajith, also features an impressive cast including Arjun Das, Prabhu, Prasanna, and Sunil in key roles.
