The trailer was initially set to drop at 9.01 p.m. However, the film's producers, Mythri Movie Makers, informed fans via their social media channels that the servers were overwhelmed by the “MASS SAMBAVAM” and would take a bit longer. They reassured viewers that the trailer would be available soon.

Mythri Movie Makers tweeted about the trailer's release, proclaiming, “Maamey! THE MASS CELEBRATION is here #GoodBadUglyTrailer out now #GoodBadUgly Grand release worldwide on April 10th, 2025 with VERA LEVEL ENTERTAINMENT.”
The trailer opens with Arjun Das, portraying a trendy villain, dancing alongside foreign models to the catchy Tamil folk tune ‘Otha Rooba Tharen’ from the film ‘Naatupura Paatu’.
Arjun Das then confronts Ajith Kumar, saying, “AK sir, I just pulled out your history and took a look at it. I heard you are a big villain. But in my game, I am your villain.”
Trisha is seen telling Prabhu, “He (Ajith Kumar) was the one who pushed my father onto the road.” It is at this moment that Ajith delivers his first line in the trailer, stating, “I gave up smoking for my sake, I gave up drinking for my wife’s sake, and I gave up violence for my son’s sake. But if my son is at risk, I would have to return to what I have given up, wouldn’t I?”
The trailer showcases thrilling action sequences featuring both Ajith and Arjun Das. At one point, Ajith warns, “You will have your nose and eyes. You will have your hands and legs. But you won’t have your life.” The trailer concludes with Ajith remarking, “Bad boy.”
The film’s music is composed by G V Prakash, a National Award winner, while cinematography is handled by Abinandhan Ramanujam and editing by Vijay Velukutty. The stunts are choreographed by Supreme Sundar and Kaloian Vodenicharov.
Interestingly, 'Good Bad Ugly' was initially slated for a Pongal release when filming commenced in June last year.
This film, featuring Trisha alongside Ajith in leading roles, also includes a stellar cast with powerful performances from Arjun Das, Prabhu, Prasanna, and Sunil in significant roles.
