Los Angeles, Sep 13 (NationPress) Just days before celebrating their 29th wedding anniversary, singer Akon’s spouse, Tomeka Thiam, has initiated divorce proceedings against the musician.
According to the filing reported by people.com, Thiam cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
She indicated their separation date as “TBD” and mentioned they have one child together, a 17-year-old daughter named Journey.
