Mumbai, Sep 2 (NationPress) Actor Akshay Oberoi, who is gearing up for his role in the forthcoming film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, shared that he had a heartfelt wish to collaborate with the movie's director Shashank Khaitan.
"I vividly recall back in 2014, during the promotional events for my film Pizza, I saw the trailer for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania for the very first time. The grand scale, refreshing storyline, and striking visuals that Shashank Khaitan brought to life truly captivated me," Akshay reminisced.
"In that moment, I silently wished that one day, I would get the opportunity to work with him."
At that time, it felt like an impossible dream.
"What seemed like a distant aspiration has now turned into reality, as we approach the release of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari ten years later," he expressed.
The film boasts an impressive cast, including Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Maniesh Paul, Rohit Saraf, and many others.
He continued, "Being directed by Shashank and part of a Dharma Productions project with such a talented ensemble feels surreal and immensely fulfilling. It’s a testament that the universe pays attention to the quietest dreams we hold and rewards us in due time."
This film marks the third chapter in the Dulhania series and is scheduled to premiere on October 2.
