Mumbai, Dec 25 (NationPress) The beloved veteran actor Anil Kapoor is feeling “truly overwhelmed” by the affection and warmth he has received on his special day. He expressed his gratitude on social media, thanking his fans, friends, and well-wishers for their heartfelt messages and blessings.

Anil shared a delightful picture with his wife from his intimate 69th birthday celebration on Instagram.

His long-time friend Anupam Kher provided a glimpse into the festivities on Wednesday night.

Posting sweet moments on Instagram, Anupam noted that the “birthday boy” celebrated with him and his wife, Sunita Kapoor.

Anupam shared a video capturing the moment when Anil cut a chocolate cake while Anupam and Sunita joyfully sang the birthday song. The heartwarming occasion concluded with Anil feeding a piece of cake to Anupam.

On the professional front, Anil was last seen in War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji. This film is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe and serves as a sequel to the 2019 movie War. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, and Kiara Advani.

The storyline revolves around Kabir Dhaliwal, a former RAW agent who, after going rogue, becomes a significant threat to national security, prompting a special units officer, Vikram Chelapathi, to neutralize him.

Next, he will feature in Subedaar, set in rural India, which follows Arjun Singh, a former soldier navigating the challenges of civilian life, burdened by his past and a strained relationship with his daughter.

As he grapples with personal and societal issues, he aims to mend his fractured bond with his daughter, Shyama (played by Radhikka Madan), while battling his inner demons.

This film, set against a backdrop of honor, sacrifice, and resilience, promises to offer a poignant portrayal of a man torn between duty to his country and the love for his family.

Additionally, Anil has ‘Alpha’ in the pipeline, also part of the YRF spy universe, where he will co-star with Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt and actress Sharvari from Munjya. ‘Alpha’ marks the first female-led action film from this universe.
