Mumbai, Oct 26 (NationPress) - Renowned director Anubhav Sinha reflects on the journey of his 2011 superhero film 'Ra.One' as it celebrates its 14th anniversary today. To commemorate this occasion, Sinha shared exclusive behind-the-scenes images featuring himself and the film's lead, Shah Rukh Khan.
In his heartfelt message, Sinha expressed, "Some days on this film are so remarkable that just glancing at the picture evokes the experiences I had. (sic)."
The film showcases SRK in a dual role, with Arjun Rampal portraying the villain, and a talented cast including Kareena Kapoor, Armaan Verma, Shahana Goswami, Tom Wu, Dalip Tahil, and Satish Shah in supporting roles.
Produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment, the film's narrative revolves around a video game villain who escapes into reality to chase down the player who nearly defeated him. This player, the son of the game's late creator, inadvertently brings the game's hero to life to shield himself and his mother from the menacing antagonist.
This month, Sinha revealed plans for a tour aimed at exploring the disparity between demand and supply within the film industry.
The 'Thappad' director shared a video on social media, expressing his desire to engage with film enthusiasts to comprehend the factors contributing to the widening gap between audience expectations and the cinematic offerings.
"For quite some time, I've been contemplating a prevailing theory in the Hindi film industry, especially in Bollywood, that emerges every Friday with new releases—whether an action film or a love story will succeed. This has created an unprecedented communication gap between filmmakers, actors, and audiences," Sinha stated.
