Mumbai, Sep 12 (NationPress) Anupam Kher officially launched the captivating artworks of esteemed artists Ratan Parimoo and Naina Dalal at The National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) in Mumbai, in collaboration with Gallerie Splash.
Kher shared highlights from the event with his Instagram followers, expressing his joy at inaugurating the works of these remarkable artists.
The creator of 'Tanvi: The Great' stated: "A BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY IN COLOURS: It was my pleasure and honor to unveil the stunning and thought-provoking paintings of 90-year-old Padmashri Ratan Parimoo ji and his wife Naina Dalal ji, who have been together for 65 years."
He praised their artistry, saying, "Their work is extraordinary, and their lives serve as an inspiration! Their retrospective is accessible to the public at National Gallery of Modern Art for one month! Don't miss the chance to see their incredible work! (Red heart & love eyes emoji)"

The exhibition, titled "Pioneer Abstractionist", showcases over 40 pieces by Ratan Parimoo from 1958 to 1973. A recipient of the Padmashri award, Parimoo is renowned for his impact as a painter, art historian, and educator.
Alongside it is "Naina Dalal: The Silent Fire Within", a retrospective that features more than 150 works throughout her distinguished career. Naina Dalal is recognized for her significant contributions to etching, aquatint, collagraphy, and lithography.
The event was attended by numerous art community members, diplomats, and curators, including Daniel Quer Confalonieri (Consul General, Embassy of Argentina), Farhana Ahmed Chowdhury (Deputy High Commissioner, Embassy of Bangladesh), NGMA Mumbai Director Nidhi Choudhari, curatorial advisor Girish Shahane, gallerist Jinoy Payyappilly, and art historian Gauri Krishnan.
The exhibitions will be open to the public until October 12 at NGMA Mumbai, located at the Sir Cowasjee Jahangir Public Hall on MG Road, Fort.
