Chennai, Feb 15 (NationPress) Producer Archana Kalpathi, known for her upcoming film ‘Dragon’ which has already achieved notable profits prior to its release, shared that her production house’s blockbuster ‘Love Today’ came into her life during a challenging period.
Love Today, featuring Pradeep Ranganathan in both a directing and leading role, became a massive success, leading to the producers collaborating on another project titled Dragon with the actor.
During a pre-release occasion, Archana Kalpathi remarked, “Dragon is our 26th film and holds significant importance. Every producer aspires for a blockbuster. Simultaneously, they seek a film that garners critical acclaim. Achieving a balance between commercial success and meaningful storytelling is a challenge, yet I believe we have accomplished that with Dragon.”
She expressed gratitude towards her entire team and especially to the film’s hero, Pradeep.
Archana stated, “This film is personally one of my favorites. Reflecting on the journey with Pradeep, I revealed, 'The film Love Today arrived at a time when I was facing personal difficulties.'”
She recounted her journey before meeting Pradeep Ranganathan, explaining, “Before meeting him, I had connected with a director to hear a story. However, an hour before the narration, he canceled due to a call from a major star. In that predicament, I explained to my father that I needed two days. It was then that my sister Aishu mentioned Love Today, leading to our collaboration.”
Describing Pradeep Ranganathan as a modest, diligent individual, she added, “You have an upward path ahead. I wish you the utmost success and you will always have the support of AGS.”
