Arpita Shares Insights on a Typical Meal in the Khan Family

Mumbai, Dec 17 (NationPress) From homemade dishes to beloved favorites, dining with Salman Khan's family is always a grand feast, as disclosed by his younger sister, Arpita Khan.

"A meal in the Khan family is consistently a grand feast! The table is overflowing with every type of dish imaginable because, frankly, everyone has their own favorites and no one wants to be left out," Arpita shared with IANS.

She also talked about the lively conversations at the dinner table, which are filled with joy and laughter.

"There's never a dull moment, with plenty of chatter, laughter, and friendly debates—especially about who gets the last bite of something scrumptious!" said Arpita, who comes from the Khan family that includes Bollywood luminaries like Salim Khan, Salma Khan, Helen, Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, and Alvira Khan Agnihotri.

The wife of Bollywood actor Aayush Sharma added: "We cherish our traditional home-cooked comfort food; dining together is never boring. For us, meals are occasions for storytelling, laughter, and serving love in generous portions."

Recently, Arpita revealed that her husband Aayush follows a clean eating regimen.

"Aayush is dedicated to clean eating and enjoys healthy meals, particularly proteins and salads, such as the Classic Miso Cod, Salmon Ceviche, and Hamachi Carpaccio," Arpita told IANS.

She also mentioned that once a week, Aayush indulges in delicious but calorie-rich treats.

"On his cheat day each week, he loves pizzas, truffle pasta, and vanilla cheesecake," she shared.

Aayush, who last appeared in the film "Ruslaan," and Arpita tied the knot in 2014. They welcomed their first child, a son, in 2016, and a daughter named Ayat in 2019.

Speaking of Aayush, who hails from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, he made his acting debut in Hindi cinema in 2018 with his brother-in-law Salman Khan's production titled "Loveyatri," featuring Warina Hussain.

He later appeared alongside Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Saiee in the music video "Manjha" by Vishal Mishra in 2020. He gained significant attention for his role as a gangster opposite Salman in "Antim." His upcoming project is the action film "Kwatha," co-starring Isabelle Kaif, which has reportedly faced delays since 2019.
