Chennai, Jan 6 (NationPress) Actor Atharvaa Murali, who plays a crucial role in director Sudha Kongara's forthcoming historical film 'Parasakthi', asserts that this film represents a significant chapter in history and will hold a special place for everyone involved with it.

In a recent conversation, the actor reminisced about his most treasured experiences during the project as the film prepares for its global theatrical premiere on January 10 this year.

“I had previously known Aakash Bhaskaran as a director; he has now transitioned into a producer. It was Aakash who first shared the concept of 'Parasakthi' and my character within it. I am deeply grateful to him for trusting me with this role,” Atharvaa stated.

The actor lauded his co-stars in the film, saying, “Sreeleela will soon be recognized as an exceptional performer following this film. She is among the finest dancers in the Indian film industry.”

Regarding actor Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa revealed that the 'Santhosh Subramaniam' star has long been a source of inspiration for him.

“I vividly remember watching his dance in 'Santhosh Subramaniam' with my family—a particular scene where he dances alone in the rain brought us immense joy. My mother once said that engaging in joyful pursuits allows those around to share in that happiness. From that moment, I adopted the philosophy of nurturing personal joy while sharing it with others,” he recalled.

On the film's director, Sudha Kongara, Atharvaa remarked, “I have known Sudha for many years. When we met for this project, she insisted I stop calling her ‘ma’am’. She is a creator of iconic works.”

He particularly praised Sivakarthikeyan, saying, “Sivakarthikeyan is now like a brother to me, both on and off-screen. I have always admired his career trajectory; each step he takes is well-considered. Few successes resonate as personally as his, and SK’s accomplishments bring me pure joy. Parasakthi is a vital piece of history, reflecting the student movements that influenced our state. It promises to be a memorable film for all of us,” he expressed.

For those unfamiliar, 'Parasakthi' is produced by Aakash Bhaskaran from Dawn Pictures and directed by Sudha Kongara. The cast includes Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa Murali, and Sreeleela as leads, with music by GV Prakash. The film is set to release globally on January 10 this year.
