Television actor Avinash Mishra, best known for his appearance on Bigg Boss 18, has purchased his first home in Mumbai after a decade in the city — marking what he called the fulfilment of a long-cherished dream. The actor shared the milestone on 15 May, posting pictures from his Griha Pravesh ceremony alongside his parents and family members.

A Decade in the Making

Mishra, who arrived in Mumbai with little more than ambition, reflected on the uncertainty that defined his early years in the city. In his own words: 'Om Namah Shivaay Finally… apna ghar in Mumbai! 10 saal lage… and now I can proudly say — we made it. 10 years of hard work, patience & faith.'

He recalled the questions that haunted him as a newcomer: 'Jab naya naya Mumbai aaya tha, tab sirf sawaal hi sawaal the… Kaise hoga? Kya hoga? Kab hoga? Kya main is sheher mein survive kar paunga?' — roughly translating to: 'When I first arrived in Mumbai, there were only questions… How will it happen? What will happen? When? Will I even survive in this city?'

Faith, Family, and Gratitude

The 30-year-old actor credited his faith and family for making the moment possible. He wrote: 'Par Bhagwaan hum sabki life ki screenplay perfect timing aur perfect climax ke saath likhte hain… Toh bas apna kaam honestly karte raho… baaki sab woh dekh lenge.' (God writes the screenplay of all our lives with perfect timing and the perfect climax — just keep working honestly, He will take care of the rest.)

Mishra reserved special gratitude for his parents, saying he owed the achievement entirely to their love and support. He also thanked his brother for being 'the backbone of our family' and his sister-in-law for bringing joy into their lives.

Mishra made his television debut in 2017 with the show Sethji. Since then, he has appeared in a string of popular productions including Yeh Teri Galiyan, Nath – Zewar Ya Zanjeer, Ishqbaaaz, Mariam Khan – Reporting Live, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, Durga – Mata Ki Chhaya, Titli, and Meetha Khatta Pyaar Hamara, among others. His Bigg Boss 18 stint significantly expanded his national profile.
