Ayushmann Khurrana Celebrates the Global Influence of Indian Cinema

Mumbai, Dec 24 (NationPress) Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana, who was recently recognized as the ‘Future Leader for One ASIA’ at the 22nd Unforgettable Gala, feels a deep sense of pride in the way Indian cinema is breaking barriers across different demographics, cultures, and languages.
The actor shared that he is a firm believer in the power of cinema to connect with audiences everywhere, and he is thrilled to witness the global resonance of Indian films.
At the Gala, he was celebrated alongside notable figures such as Joan Chen, a Chinese-American actress and Oscar Academy Awards judge known for her nine Oscar-winning performances, and Hiroyuki Sanada, a globally recognized actor famous for his roles in Shogun and the John Wick franchise.
In a heartfelt video message, Ayushmann expressed gratitude to the jury and the organizing team, stating, “Celebrating India, its narratives, its culture, and its people invigorates my creativity as an artist. I have always aspired to be recognized as an actor who reveals a lesser-seen side of India, shares stories that are often overlooked, and advocates for causes frequently ignored. Films like Vicky Donor, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhaan, Article 15, Badhaai Ho, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, and Bala are consciously chosen by me to contribute positively to social change. I am overjoyed that these narratives have resonated with audiences worldwide.”
