Mumbai, November 11 (NationPress) – Bigg Boss 19 contestant and actor Abhishek Bajaj has recently faced eviction from the popular reality show. While he was a participant, his ex-wife, Akanksha Jindal, publicly accused him of cheating and being unfaithful during their relationship.
In response to these allegations, Abhishek has openly criticized Akanksha. Speaking with IANS, he stated, “She is an ex for a reason. Our relationship is in the past. We met during our formative years, got together, and then parted ways. That’s all there is to it.”
He further expressed, “I have achieved my current status through relentless hard work and dedication. I am loved and admired by many, and I have witnessed my growth personally and professionally. I have become a part of countless lives, almost like family. Some individuals find this hard to accept. Criticizing men has become the norm, and that's what she seems to be doing. As one grows, social parasites and fame seekers often emerge to gain their fleeting moment of recognition through someone else's success.”
Addressing the timing of the accusations, he remarked, “This is an old issue, and she brings it up now that I have gained more fame. She didn’t mention it when we separated. Consider her motives and what she aims to achieve with this. I genuinely hope she finds good reputation, fame, and a worthy partner. It’s time for her to move on from my chapter.”
Akanksha, who has been appearing in numerous interviews, accused Abhishek of disloyalty during their marriage and claimed he was unfaithful. She also criticized him on social media regarding his relationship with co-contestant Ashnoor Kaur, who is nearly 11 years younger than him.
Additionally, in a private discussion with IANS, Abhishek faced criticism from host Salman Khan for allegedly age-shaming his 61-year-old co-contestant, veteran actress Kunickaa Sadanand. Responding to this, he said, “I don’t understand the uproar. She is 65 years old and a grandmother. I referred to her as 'grandmother' respectfully, which she indeed is. I hold great love for my grandmother.”
He added, “She expects everyone to only listen to her without ever questioning her. Yet, she refers to herself as independent, strong, and a ‘gundi’ (don). Naturally, we will express our opinions respectfully but in our own way. This is not a nursing home where we cater to her.”
