Chennai, Jan 30 (NationPress) Actress Bhagyashrii Borse expressed her heartfelt appreciation after receiving a prestigious accolade from the legendary Ilaiyaraaja at the Ajanta Ellora International Film Festival. In an emotional note shared on her Instagram, she conveyed to the iconic musician that being recognized by him was indeed an honour beyond words.

While accepting the award, Bhagyashrii sought Ilaiyaraaja's blessings in a traditional manner by touching his feet. She wrote, "Dear Ilaiyaraaja sir, it is truly an honour beyond words to be recognized by you at the Ajanta Ellora International Film Festival (@aiff_official_), held in my beloved hometown, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. I am immensely thankful to embark on this journey with your blessings."

She also expressed her gratitude towards AIFF for this cherished recognition, stating, "Thank you for celebrating your Daughter of Marathwada with such affection; I promise to make Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar prouder always. Special thanks to @resulpookutty sir for your kind words, and @chandukul sir for creating an unforgettable experience!"

On her professional front, Bhagyashrii is set to star in director Murali Kishor Abburu's anticipated film ‘Lenin’, alongside Akhil Akkineni.

This year, the production team unveiled her first look as the character Bharathi in this action-packed film.

The production house, Sithara Entertainments, along with Nagarjuna, shared the first look on social media, stating, "Vareva vareva.. vavva vavva vareva.. Introducing #BhagyashriBorse from #LENIN. First Single from JAN 5th."

The poster of her character was captioned, "Introducing the love of Lenin, Bharathi," confirming plans for a summer 2026 release.

The project has generated significant excitement among fans and cinephiles alike. Initially, actress Sree Leela was cast for the female lead opposite Akhil Akkineni, but due to scheduling conflicts, she stepped down, leading to Bhagyashrii's casting.

A glimpse video of the film was also released last year on the occasion of Akhil Akkineni's birthday.

The title glimpse features scenes reminiscent of the epic Mahabharata's final battle, showcasing Akhil Akkineni with a determined expression, ready for a challenge. A voiceover states, "My father said that at birth, one has life but no name. Similarly, upon death, one has no life, only the name remains. How that name is remembered is..." before revealing the title ‘Lenin’. The film carries the tagline, ‘No war is more violent than love’.

With immense anticipation surrounding it, the film boasts cinematography by Naveen Kumar, music by Thaman, and editing by Navin Nooli.
