Mumbai, May 24 (NationPress) Actor Chandrachur Singh has expressed his sorrow over the unexpected passing of his close friend, actor Mukul Dev, who left us at the age of 54.
Heartbroken by the loss of his beloved companion, the "Maachis" star shared on Instagram, "My dearest brother Mukul, the memories we created together are priceless. You’ve been such a significant part of my journey, and I’m profoundly shocked and saddened that you are no longer physically here. You have touched countless lives, and your spirit will endure forever. Soar high, my brother, until we reunite. May God bestow peace upon your family and your soul, always sending you love."
Chandrachur also posted a photo of them together, both dressed in black. The "Josh" actor had a strong bond with Mukul, having collaborated in a film together.
Their camaraderie was showcased in the 2012 film, "Chaar Din Ki Chandni", a romantic comedy directed and produced by Samir Karnik. The film also starred Tusshar Kapoor, Kulraj Randhawa, Anupam Kher, Om Puri, Anita Raj, Johny Lever, Sushant Singh, Farida Jalal, Pammi Kaur, Rahul Singh, Harish Kumar, and Shruti Sharma Divya.
Mukul's brother, actor Rahul Dev, revealed that the "Dastak" actor passed away peacefully. "Our dear brother Mukul Dev left us peacefully in New Delhi last night... He is survived by his daughter Sia Dev and will be missed by his siblings Rashmi Kaushal, Rahul Dev, and nephew Sidhant Dev," he expressed in a heartfelt message.
Rahul also shared that Mukul's last rites will take place at Delhi's Dayanand Mukti Dham in Nizamuddin West at 5 PM.
