Mumbai, May 23 (NationPress) The film “Chhaava”, featuring stars Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna, was showcased in an inflatable cinema hall located in the tribal area of Gadchiroli, Maharashtra.
The innovative mobile theatre company PictureTime debuted its inflatable cinema hall last evening, presenting “Chhaava” as its inaugural film.
This cinematic piece, centered on the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan. It serves to promote cinema attendance and enrich the film culture in the area.
Gadchiroli, one of Maharashtra's most remote districts, home to around 10 lakh residents, is set to enjoy a cinematic experience, thanks to PictureTime’s modern theatre which features air conditioning, 5.1 Dolby Sound, 120 push-back chairs, and digital projections. The ticket pricing has been conveniently set at Rs 150, making it accessible to the largely rural populace.
The grand opening on May 22 was attended by notable figures such as Milindji Narote, MLA of Gadchiroli, Avishyant Panda, I.A.S., Collector of Gadchiroli District, and Prashantji Waghare, BJP Zilha Adhyaksh, along with other esteemed guests.
Regular screenings will begin on Friday, featuring two films: Ata Thambaycha Naay (Marathi) and Kesari Veer (Hindi), starring Suniel Shetty.
