Mumbai, Oct 21 (NationPress) Bollywood icons Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh brought joy to their fans this Diwali by unveiling their daughter Dua's face for the first time on social media.

The beloved duo, known for their discretion in personal matters, posted a touching family picture that quickly went viral. Deepika captioned the images with “Diwali ki hardik shubhkamnayein” in Hindi, extending warm Diwali wishes to all, accompanied by cheerful and evil eye emojis.

In the snapshots, the couple donned matching festive attire. Deepika looked radiant in a gorgeous red silk salwar kameez paired with exquisite traditional gold jewellery. Her hair was elegantly styled in a bun, decorated with jasmine flowers. Ranveer complemented her in an ivory sherwani, layered with a pearl necklace and sunglasses, radiating his signature charm.

Their daughter, Dua, donned a coordinating red outfit, looking utterly adorable in her parents' embrace. Her cute ponytails added to the charm of the moment. Another picture depicted a peaceful scene with Deepika cradling Dua close during the Diwali puja. Born in September 2024, Dua arrived nearly five years after Deepika and Ranveer exchanged vows. The couple, who fell in love while filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali's “Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram Leela” in 2013, have always cherished their bond.

After a six-year romance, Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in a lavish yet intimate ceremony at Lake Como, Italy, in November 2018, following Sindhi and Konkani traditions. Since Dua's arrival, they have been very protective of their daughter's privacy, avoiding the public display of her face on social media. This Diwali marks a significant moment as fans finally get a glimpse into their family life.

A few weeks prior, a video of Deepika and little Dua at the airport, traveling in a buggy, went viral after being captured secretly by a fan. In the clip, Deepika could be seen firmly asking the fan not to photograph or film Dua, but the request was ignored.
