Mumbai, May 10 (NationPress) The creators of the highly anticipated film ‘Kapkapiii’ have decided to postpone the release date of the song ‘Titli’ due to the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.
The song was initially set to debut in Dubai this week; however, the team shared their decision to delay the launch through their social media channels.
They stated, “We had planned to be in Dubai this week for the grand launch of Titli, the much-anticipated track from our film ‘Kapkapiii’. Yet, sometimes, the reel must pause for real. In moments that necessitate national unity, we feel it is our responsibility to support our armed forces, not just in spirit but through our actions. As a tribute, we will be postponing our visit to Dubai. Celebrations can wait; the nation comes first.”
‘Kapkapiii’ is a horror-comedy that revolves around an Ouija board, blending elements of fear and humor in a storyline that aims to engage audiences.
Regarding the film, Tusshar Kapoor previously mentioned, “‘Kapkapiii’ features a highly realistic setting, and the characters are incredibly relatable. The horror aspect centers on a Ouija board, a concept not frequently explored in Hindi cinema. Sangeeth ji allowed his actors the freedom to improvise within the script's guidelines, enhancing the depth and authenticity of our performances. For me, it was a nostalgic reunion after almost 20 years since ‘Kyaa Kool Hain Hum’, truly a homecoming.”
The screenplay is crafted by Saurabh Anand and Kumar Priyadarshi, promising a mix of spine-tingling moments intertwined with humor.
This film, featuring Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Sonia Rathee, Abishek Kumar, Siddhi Idnani, Jay Thakkar, Varun Pandey, Dherendra Tiwari, and Dinkar Sharma, is directed by the late filmmaker Sangeeth Sivan.
Produced by Jayesh Patel and Umesh Kumar Bansal under Bravo Entertainment and presented by Zee Studios, it is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 23, 2025.
