Punjab, Aug 31 (NationPress) Amidst the ongoing floods that have left many residents of Punjab in distress, the producers of Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa's highly anticipated sequel "Nikka Zaildar 4" have made the decision to delay the film's release.
The production house, White Hill Studios, announced on their official Instagram that the release has been postponed due to the severe flooding affecting numerous regions in Punjab.
"In light of the unexpected and critical flood conditions in various parts of Punjab, the entire team behind Nikka Zaildar 4 has resolved to delay the film's premiere to 21st October 2025. We feel it is our responsibility to support the people of Punjab during these challenging times,"
the statement read.
They also pledged to visit the flood-stricken areas to offer aid.
"Thus, the Nikka Zaildar 4 team plans to visit the affected regions shortly, providing trucks filled with essential supplies and rations to those in need as soon as possible. We stand united with Punjab," the announcement concluded.
Originally set for release on 12th September, Nikka Zaildar 4 will now premiere on 21st October.
Directed by Simerjit Singh, the film's narrative has been crafted by Jagdeep Sidhu.
Featuring Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa in lead roles, the cast also includes Nirmal Rishi, Sonia Kour, Nisha Bano, Sukhi Chahal, Gurmeet Saajan, Gurdial Paras, Satwinder Kaur, and Anita Devgan in supporting roles.
