Dhanashree and Yuzvendra Spark Divorce Speculations by Unfollowing Each Other on Instagram

Mumbai, Jan 4 (NationPress) Dancer and social media influencer Dhanashree Verma and her husband, cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, have reignited rumors of a potential divorce following their decision to unfollow each other on the popular platform Instagram.

Yuzvendra has gone as far as to delete all his photos with Dhanashree, while she still maintains some pictures with him despite having unfollowed.

The divorce speculation began to circulate in 2023 when Dhanashree removed 'Chahal' from her Instagram handle. Prior to this, Yuzvendra posted a mysterious story on Instagram stating, "New life loading."

Dhanashree and Yuzvendra got engaged in 2020 and tied the knot in a private ceremony in December 2020 in Gurugram, Haryana.

28-year-old Dhanashree is recognized for her fusion dance performances that seamlessly integrate traditional Indian dance with modern styles.

According to reports, their paths first crossed in 2019 when Dhanashree was choreographing for the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Royal Challengers Bangalore, where Yuzvendra was playing as a spinner. This marked the beginning of their relationship.

She gained significant attention after choreographing the dance for the song "Vaathi Coming" from the 2021 Tamil film “Master”, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, featuring Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles.

Dhanashree was also a finalist on the eleventh season of “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa”, where she was judged by Arshad Warsi, Farah Khan, and Malaika Arora. Manisha Rani and her partner Ashutosh Pawar were crowned winners.

As for Chahal, 34, he represents the Indian cricket team in white-ball cricket as a leg-spin bowler. He plays for Haryana in domestic leagues and the Punjab Kings in the IPL. Chahal holds the record as the second player and the first Indian to achieve a 6-wicket haul in T20I history. Notably, he is also a former chess player who has represented India on an international level in chess.
