Chennai, May 2 (NationPress) - Renowned director, producer, and actor Dhanush unveiled the announcement video for YouTuber V J Siddhu's inaugural film titled 'Dayanagaram' on Friday.

In a post shared on his timeline on X, Dhanush expressed, "Thrilled to present the announcement video of #Dayanagaram — a significant milestone for @VJSiddhuOG as he embarks on his journey as both director and lead actor. This film will be helmed by VJ Siddhu, who will also star in the leading role.

The amusing announcement video starts with VJ Siddhu bringing his father to meet the film's producer, Ishari K Ganesh, who is also the founder and chancellor of Vels University.

In a waiting room, Siddhu and his father sit alongside other parents eager to enroll their children in the university. Siddhu's dad, determined to support his son in becoming a successful director, encourages him, asserting he has a solid script and a video ready to present to the producer.

As they finally get called to meet the producer, he is engrossed in signing documents and, without glancing up, repeatedly inquires about Siddhu's academic performance. Confused by the producer's focus on his grades, Siddhu begins to question why they are discussing school marks when they are there seeking a film opportunity.

Eventually, Siddhu's father interjects, addressing the Chancellor, "Sir, let go of the marks. My son is destined to create an exceptional movie. Kindly grant him the opportunity."

At that moment, the Chancellor realizes they are there for a film opportunity. He asks Siddhu's dad to step outside and remarks, "Usually, youngsters bring their fathers for college admissions.
