Chennai, Nov 20 (NationPress) The highly anticipated gangster crime thriller, 'Friday', directed by Hari Venkatesh, is set to premiere on November 28. The film stars Dheena, Anish Masilamani, and Mime Gopi in lead roles, as confirmed by the production team.

Known for his comedic roles, Dheena will take on a more serious character, showcasing his versatility, especially remembered for his role as Karthi's navigator in the blockbuster 'Kaithi'.

Produced by Dakdam Motion Pictures, 'Friday' also features Ramachandra Duraraj in a significant role, along with Kalaiarasan, Chithrasena, and Sidhu Kumaresan among others.

Interestingly, Surya Gandhimathi co-directs the film, adding to its unique vision.

The screenplay is said to follow a non-linear narrative, weaving together various thrilling events occurring over a single night.

According to insiders, filming predominantly took place around Kolachal, focusing on its harbor and coastal scenery.

The film boasts a talented technical crew, with cinematography led by Johny Nash, and music composed by Dumae. Editing is done by Pravin, while Selva Ramesh handles VFX. Art direction is crafted by Karthi Loga, and action sequences are choreographed by Abinash Aathi. Notably, Shyam Potter contributes through 2D animation.

As the inaugural production of Dakdam Motion Pictures, 'Friday' marks a significant entry into the Tamil film landscape.

Currently, the post-production phase is complete, with the film set for its release on November 28, distributed by Shivani Studios throughout Tamil Nadu.
