The 2001 coming-of-age drama, widely credited with reshaping youth storytelling in Hindi cinema, has retained a devoted following across generations.

Akhtar shared the film's iconic poster on social media with the overlay: 'CELEBRATING 25-YEARS OF LAUGHTER, FRIENDSHIP AND UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES.' In his caption, he wrote: 'Can't believe it's been 25 years.. Akash, Sameer and Sid don't look like they've aged a day!!!!
