Mumbai, Oct 22 (NationPress) Renowned actor Dilip Joshi, celebrated for his iconic role as Jethalal in the sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, made a heartfelt visit to the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Dadar to participate in the vibrant Annakut festivities.
In a conversation with IANS from the temple, Dilip expressed his delight, sharing that the festival featured over 2,500 vegetarian dishes meticulously prepared and dedicated to the deity.
He stated: “Namaskar friends, I am Dilip Joshi and right now I am at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Dadar, where the Annakut celebration is hosted with great grandeur, and this year we have more than 2,500 pure vegetarian dishes offered here.”
He continued, “These dishes have been presented at the feet of God, with many crafted by the temple's saints and dedicated devotees of BAPS. Each devotee has lovingly prepared one or two items at home to offer here.”
Dilip described the experience as heartwarming.
“It is truly a joyful experience. Every year, these pure vegetarian dishes are offered to God, and today I had the chance to visit and receive blessings here, which has filled me with immense joy.”
