Mumbai, Sep 8 (NationPress) Actress-director Divya Khossla is eagerly anticipating the release of her new film ‘Ek Chatur Naar’. She revealed that her time working alongside co-star Neil Nitin Mukesh was much more enjoyable on camera than behind the scenes, even going so far as to say she relished the opportunity to tease him during filming.
Speaking to IANS in the Andheri area of Mumbai prior to the film's release, she remarked, “Filming was a lot more entertaining. Off the set, we were serious because we both dedicate ourselves to our craft and remain focused.”
“It’s always about work, work, work. But on screen, it was a riot because the story revolves around the dynamics of a snake and a mongoose. I had an absolute blast teasing him,” she added.
‘Ek Chatur Naar’, a black comedy thriller, is penned by Himanshu Tripathi and helmed by Umesh Shukla. Set in a quirky small-town Indian setting, the narrative features a charming woman whose seemingly innocent demeanor hides a sharp intellect, allowing her to easily outwit those around her.
The actress has previously expressed her desire to explore the comedy genre, claiming to possess a natural flair for humor.
She expressed to IANS, “I’ve always felt that comedy is my forte. I’ve longed for an opportunity to work in a comedy film. When this project came along, I felt it was finally my chance to showcase that side of me, which many might not be aware of, as I carry that comic essence in real life as well.”
Presented by T-Series, ‘Ek Chatur Naar’ is scheduled for release on September 12, 2025.
