Mumbai, April 28 (NationPress) Renowned television star Drashti Dhami has disclosed what her 6-month-old daughter Leela enjoys playing with. Taking to her Instagram, Dhami shared a video showcasing Leela's current favorite toys.
As per her mother, little Leela is fond of pinwheels, finger puppets, a peek-a-boo elephant plush toy, a development bumpy ball, a shape-shifting pop fidget, sensory balls, teethers, a squeezy soft toy, and fidget spinners.
Along with the clip, Dhami wrote a heartfelt note reflecting on her experiences as a mother to a 6-month-old.
The 'Madhubala' actress expressed, "As Leela turns 6 months, I thought it’d be wonderful to begin sharing the small things that are truly working for us – from toys and clothes to simple daily routines. Nothing extravagant, just a platform to exchange mommy hacks, learn from one another, and navigate this beautiful (and somewhat chaotic) journey together. Currently, we’re discovering what makes her giggle, reach out, and remain curious – and let’s be honest, also what doesn’t end up in her mouth within 3 seconds... Here are a few of Leela’s current favorite toys – I’d love to hear what your little ones enjoy too."
Dhami celebrated Leela’s six-month milestone on April 24. To commemorate the day, she shared a glimpse into the celebrations on social media.
She reflected on the nine months she spent carrying Leela and how her daughter has now become her home.
Dhami posted on IG, "There are places in the heart you don’t even know exist until you love a child - Anne Lamott. And now I understand what this means; I was your home for 9 months, but now you are my home forever. I love you, Leela. Happy 6 months to you and me."
Dhami and her husband, Neeraj Khemka, embraced parenthood on October 22, 2022, with the arrival of their baby girl, whom they named Leela.
