Drashti Dhami Reveals Her Daughter's Name and Shares an Adorable Sneak Peek

Mumbai, Nov 28 (NationPress) Actress Drashti Dhami has chosen the name Leela for her newborn daughter and has shared a heartwarming glimpse of her tiny feet on social media.
Drashti took to Instagram, posting a picture of her daughter Leela’s delicate feet as she and her husband Niraj Khemka lovingly held on to them.
“Say hello to Leela,” she captioned the post.
The couple welcomed their daughter on October 23 and joyfully announced that “she is here.”
Drashti also shared a charming motion card with a delightful circus theme on Instagram.
“Straight from heaven into our hearts a whole new life, a whole new start. She is here. 22.10.24. Elated parents Drashti and Niraj, Overjoyed grandparents Suman-Prakash Khemka and Vibhuti Dhami,” read the card.
The announcement was captioned: “SHE IS HERE 22.10.2024.”
Drashti and Neeraj tied the knot on February 21, 2015, in a traditional Hindu ceremony. Notably, actress Suhasi Dhami is married to her elder brother Jaisheel Dhami.
On the professional front, Drashti began her career with appearances in music videos such as 'Saiyyan Dil Mein Aana Re', 'Humko Aaj Kal Hai', 'Teri Meri Nazar Ki Dori', and 'Nachle Soniyo Tu'.
She made her television debut in 2007 with 'Dill Mill Gayye', portraying Dr. Muskaan Chadda. In 2008, she participated in the reality show, 'Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket' produced by Ekta Kapoor.
In 2010, she starred as the lead in 'Geet- Hui Sabse Parayi' opposite Gurmeet Choudhary.
Her television credits also include popular series like 'Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon', 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7', 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani', 'Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil', and 'Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka'.
Most recently, Drashti appeared in the 2023 web series 'Duranga', where she played the role of Ira Jaykar Patel, co-starring with Gulshan Devaiah.
