Ippadikku Kriya, Narmada and Harish Kalyan (Sending sweet Tamil New Year wishes to my Tamil brothers and sisters worldwide, from Kriya, Narmada, and Harish Kalyan)."
It is noteworthy that the couple welcomed their little girl in March this year.
Previously, Harish Kalyan shared his joy in a statement, saying, "My heart is overflowing with happiness as I announce that my wife Narmada and I have welcomed our baby girl today (02.03.2026). Both mother and daughter are in good health and doing well."
He further expressed gratitude for the love and blessings from family, friends, and well-wishers as they embark on this wonderful journey together. "We sincerely appreciate the media's continued support and kindness. OM NAMAH SHIVAYA. With Love, Harish Kalyan," he added.
On the professional front, Harish Kalyan is set to star in the much-anticipated action entertainer 'Dashamakan', directed by Vineeth Varaprasad. The film features Preity Mukhundhan in the lead female role.
Insiders indicate that the movie is expected to be released in May or June this year.
It’s worth mentioning that director Vineeth Varaprasad has shared that Harish Kalyan will portray the character of a rapper in the film.
During an event hosted by the film's producers, Vineeth remarked, "Although this is my second film, this is the first opportunity I have had to truly express myself. In my previous film, I did not have that chance, which motivated me to create a platform for others instead of waiting for one."
He continued, "I aimed to uplift others and enjoy that experience. For this film, we have 137 junior artists performing, and we've discovered eight new rappers through this project."
Vineeth described 'Dashamakan' as a musical-oriented film that tells the story of a boy who is a rapper, highlighting that it encompasses much more than just music.
"Dashamakan is a place I grew up in and holds significant meaning to me. Many celebrate Chennai, and as someone who was raised here, I wanted to showcase this city to the world from my perspective. Chennai nurtures talent, and many progressive thinkers originate from here. I believe North Madras is the Brazil of Chennai, and I have aimed to capture that essence in this film," he stated. The movie features cinematography by Karthik Ashokan and musical composition by Britto Michael, with editing by Madhan.
