Mumbai, March 21 (NationPress) Filmmaker Farah Khan and actor Rajkummar Rao recently sought blessings at the renowned Shirdi Sai Baba temple.
Speaking to the press after their spiritual visit, Farah and Rajkummar were inquired, 'What was it like to visit Sai Baba?'
In response, Rajkummar expressed, 'Every time one travels to Shirdi and meets Baba, it's a sensation that's challenging to articulate. It creates a deeply personal bond with Baba. Standing before him, one cannot adequately express that emotion.'
When questioned about the motivation behind their trip to Shirdi, the 'Stree' actor shared, 'It was Farah ma'am's idea, and it felt like a calling that brought us all here.'
Farah further added, 'I've been visiting this place since I was a child. The last time I came was with my brother Sajid. We make it a tradition to visit at least once a year. This time, Rajkummar also wished to come, so we decided to visit together. We had a lovely darshan.'
When asked if any of her wishes made to Baba had ever been realized, she replied, 'Whenever I have wished for something, whether we are in Mumbai or elsewhere, and I’ve said, please grant our wish and we will come to seek your blessings—those wishes have consistently come true. That's why we keep returning to say thank you.'
On the work front, Rajkummar and Farah will be seen together in the upcoming Netflix comedy, 'Toaster'. Starring Rajkummar and Sanya Malhotra as the leads, the movie also features Archana Puran Singh, Upendra Limaye, Farah Khan, Abhishek Banerjee, and Seema Pahwa in supporting roles.
Rajkummar and his wife Patralekhaa are also stepping into production with 'Toaster'.
Directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary, this project was officially announced by Netflix in January during a special event organized by the streaming service.
