Mumbai, Nov 13 (NationPress) Bollywood icon Sanjay Khan's spouse, Zarine Khan, sadly passed away on November 7. Just days following her passing, the alarming news about Bollywood legend Dharmendra's hospitalization, with reports of him being on a ventilator, sent shockwaves across the nation.

In response, Farah Khan Ali, the daughter of the late Zarine Khan and a prominent designer, has criticized the media for their insensitive coverage regarding Dharmendra's health.

Farah took to her social media platform to express her dismay, stating, “My mother died just 6 days ago, yet some were more focused on questioning her cremation choices rather than offering condolences. Now, with Dharm Uncle in the hospital, a personal family video has gone viral.” She further questioned, “Are we as a society this insensitive? Do public figures not have families with feelings? Where has our humanity gone? Why does every fool feel entitled to weigh in on how others should live? Tragedy can hit anyone. When it’s your turn—and trust me, it will be—others will hurt you just like you’ve hurt us,” accompanied by a folded hands emoticon.

Earlier this week, on November 11, several media outlets incorrectly reported Dharmendra's demise, leading to widespread concern.

In response, Esha Deol, Dharmendra's daughter and actress, had to issue a statement to clarify her father's health status, dispelling the death rumors.

Via social media, Esha wrote, “The media appears to be in overdrive, spreading misinformation. My father is stable and recovering. We kindly request everyone to respect our family’s privacy. Thank you for your prayers for his swift recovery. Esha Deol. (sic)”

Dharmendra's elder son, Sunny Deol, also released a statement indicating, “Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. More updates will follow as they become available. Please refrain from spreading false rumors about his health. We ask for prayers for his recovery and respect for our family's privacy (sic).”

On the morning of November 13, Sunny was seen engaging with the paparazzi outside his residence, addressing his father's health updates. With folded hands, he implored the paparazzi to show sensitivity and refrain from creating chaos, asking them to act with humanity as the Deol family navigates this challenging period.

For those unaware, Dharmendra, who is reportedly on a ventilator, is believed to be experiencing breathing difficulties.
