Mumbai, Jan 25 (NationPress) Choreographer-director Farah Khan is taking a moment to contemplate her path in Hindi cinema. She recently shared her experiences working with the new generation of stars. Farah expressed the deep emotional bond she feels with the offspring of some of the most prominent actors she has previously collaborated with.
Discussing her work with Junaid Khan, the son of Bollywood icon Aamir Khan, and Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late actress Sridevi, Farah remarked, “It was a surreal experience because literally, I think I was working with Aamir in ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’ and after that Junaid was born. We all had gone to his house with Mansoor and everybody to congratulate him. Same with Sridevi also, I was quite close to her, Boney, and the whole Kapoor family. For me, it was very wonderful.”
She continued, “It just feels weird that I’ve been around for so long. I don't feel it. It's just that when I shoot with these guys, I realize that, oh my god, I started my career with Aamir and now I’m choreographing his son.”
The upcoming film ‘Loveyapa’, which features Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, explores modern romance and presents a touching narrative enriched with memorable performances, vibrant music, and stunning visuals. The film is slated for a theatrical release on February 7, 2025.
Earlier this month, Farah celebrated her birthday in Mumbai. On this special occasion, Bollywood duo Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha posted a heartfelt tribute on their Instagram accounts, showcasing many memorable moments shared with Farah.
