Hyderabad, Oct 3 (NationPress) On Friday, the creators of director Sudheer Sriram's much-awaited film unveiled the character name and the look of actress Laya.

This film, produced by actor Sivaji's Sree Sivaji Productions, is currently untitled and is informally referred to as actor Sivaji's Production Number 2.

Supported by ETV Win, this eagerly anticipated project promises to present a narrative that is both fresh and engaging.

In celebration of the Dussehra festivities, the creators have introduced the first look poster of actress Laya, who portrays a pivotal role in the film. Although the official title has yet to be determined, this sneak peek reveals her character, “Uttara”, as a homemaker with a complex personality.

Laya’s character is described as being rich with contrasting emotions—she appears to be an ordinary woman on the outside, yet harbors a criminal instinct within. This duality is evident in her behavior, where she masks her darker side behind a simple exterior. The poster itself hints at these intense layers, showcasing a new and unique aspect of Laya that audiences have not yet experienced.

Sources close to the film's team indicate that Uttara is a woman willing to go to great lengths to safeguard her family. This multi-dimensional character provides Laya with a substantial opportunity to demonstrate her acting skills. The first look, depicting her wielding weapons, reflects the profound depth and intensity concealed within her character.

The film has generated significant buzz as it marks Laya's second project following her return to the film industry. It is worth noting that Laya made her comeback with 'Thammudu' after nearly two decades away from the screen. Although she appeared in a cameo in Amar Akbar Anthony, her full return was through director Sriram Venu's emotional action drama 'Thammudu', featuring actor Nithiin in the leading role. Following 'Thammudu', Laya is set to grace the screen again in this untitled film.

The screenplay of the film has been crafted by Mithil Kumar and Sudheer Sriram. The cinematography is handled by Ritwik Reddy, while the musical score is composed by Ranjin Raj.
